Madison Cunningham and her trio perform their original song, “Pin It Down” at the legendary Sound City studios. Captured exclusively with Soyuz microphones, they belt through a rocking performance that features Tyler Chester on guitar and Abe Rounds on drums and percussion.
Madison sings into a 017 TUBE while both amps, toms, percussion, and kick are captured with 023 BOMBLETS. 013 FET overheads are perched above the drum kit and a 017 FET in omni is set below to round out the sound. The reverb is captured by a pair of 013 FETs in Sound City’s own echo chamber.
